Mr. Pergament litigates patent infringement actions and drafts patent opinions for a variety of clients. Mr. Pergament has a broad patent and technical experience in a variety of fields, including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, medical devices, vapor deposition processes, photography, and optics. At present, Mr. Pergament’s practice is
focused mainly on pharmaceutical patent litigation and establishing generic positions, counseling clients in pharmaceutical and chemical industries with respect to life cycle management and other strategic issues. Mr. Pergament was a scientist, an attorney, and an executive with several major pharmaceutical companies, and he has hand-on understanding of legal, business, and technical issues facing a broad range of pharmaceutical products, including NCEs, specialty, generics, formulations, and pharmaceutical solids.
