Jennell Bilek

Jennell Bilek advises clients on a wide range of intellectual property and business matters. As a firm Partner and licensed pharmacist, she combines her scientific, industry, and legal knowledge to achieve favorable outcomes for her clients in a variety of technological fields, including products and services used for the prevention, treatment, diagnosis, rehabilitation and monitoring of medical conditions, bio-agriculture, chemical, and mechanical arts.

Jennell has experience litigating disputes in a variety of Federal District Courts, including as trial counsel for several patent litigations in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.  Her experience spans all aspects of litigation such as pre-filing investigations, motion practice, Markman hearings, trial, appeals to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and Inter Partes reviews before the USPTO Patent Trial and Appeal Board.  She also assists clients with licensing and joint development agreements.

Jennell is co-founder and co-chair of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.  She is an adjunct assistant professor in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota and is a course director for Law in Pharmacy Practice. She serves on the Hennepin Healthcare Foundation’s Board of Directors and volunteers for the Metropolitan Council’s CAMP Program (monitoring the water quality of two of Minnesota’s 10,000+ lakes).  Every year since 2013, Minnesota Super Lawyers has named her a “Rising Star.”
