Lakshmikant is an inventor and entrepreneur. He founded Dolcera, an IP, market research and analytics firm in 2004 as a typical garage outfit with limited resources. Today, Dolcera is recognized as a leading technology and analytics consulting firm both globally and in India and counts dozens of Fortune 500 firms as its clients. Dolcera has offices in California, London, Beijing and Hyderabad. At Dolcera Lakshmikant heads product development, service delivery and international marketing. Prior to Dolcera he used to handle product development and international marketing for his chemicals firm United Chemie. Lakshmikant is an inventor with a patent to his name. At Dolcera, he has pioneered many innovations in the area of machine learning to analyze and classify complex documents like patents and technical literature. He is also the inventor of a medical device that aims to improve medical outcomes while lowering over all treatment costs for patients. At United Chemie he invented several chemical processes, the products of which have added many millions of dollars in revenue to the company. He is a thought leader in the field of IP. He led the Dolcera team to the first position in the White House sponsored USPTO cancer moonshot program. He has published papers that have been published at leading conferences globally like ACS (Annual), Bio (Annual) and several others.
