Surajit Atha currently leads the Patents and Analytics CoE (PACE) for GE, based out of John. F. Welch Technology Centre (JFWTC), Bangalore. The PACE team is responsible for IP & Technology Analysis, Competitive Intelligence, IP Strategy and Monetization Analytics for GE’s Research and Licensing divisions globally. Prior to this, Surajit has led different teams in GE, providing IP Analysis, Patent Drafting & Prosecution, Competitive Analysis, and Licensing Analytics support to different GE Business and Research units.
Surajit has over 15 years of experience in the field of IP Analytics, Technology Intelligence and IP Strategy. He is also a Certified Six Sigma Blackbelt. Surajit holds a M.S. degree in Materials Science & Engineering from University of Virginia (USA) and a B.Tech degree from IIT Kharagpur (India).
